Hey Captain of the swim team, I'm. I know who you are, you are the captain of our school's athlectics team. Yes that is right. You are also renown for getting into fights and beating up guys twice you size. They all deserved it especially those who try to get fresh with the girls on my team. I guess I can't argue with that.
Tough love is my second comic which took me about 2 months to complete even after I cut it down to just five pages. This time around I wanted to try doing a lighthearted story since the feedback I received regarding Mirror was that it was too sad. So I came up with a shoujo-styled story where romantic girl-boy relationships are the central theme with small elements of humor. It took me awhile to do the artwork because I wanted to go for a simple clean look but not overly stylized like the typical shoujo mangas. Most of the romance mangas I like are by Adachi Mitsuru such as H2, Niji Iro Togarashi and Rough and the beautiful short stories by Nananan Kiriko.
